Kyūshū

The third largest and southernmost of Japan's four major islands. Comprises Fukuoka, Nagasaki, Ōita, Kumamoto, Miyazaki, Saga, and Kagoshima prefectures. Geographically divided into north, central, and south Kyūshū, the region has a mountainous interior with numerous coastal plains, volcanoes,and hot springs.
